Collecting information for the assessment
Due to the objectivity (separation between assessment and selection) Forum ETHIBEL outsources the assessment to Vigeo, an independent rating bureau specialised in audits on corporate social responsibility.Vigeo performs the assessment on the basis of annual reports, the website and public reports. Vigeo also contacts the company for additional information and involves stakeholders, like trade unions and environmental organisation, to achieve a multidimensional perspective.
The final assessment and the rating and selection of companies fall under the autonomous authority and responsibility of Forum ETHIBEL, which is assisted by independent experts, the Register Committee.
